Looking for a Head of DevOps remote job in India 2026? This is a career-defining opportunity.

You’ll own cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and platform reliability end-to-end.
Lead a DevOps/SRE team. Drive automation, security, and performance. High ownership. Zero micromanagement. 🔵⚙️

🗂️ Key Responsibilities:

  • 🏗️ Own AWS / Azure / GCP cloud infrastructure — design scalable, highly available, cost-optimized architectures using Terraform and CloudFormation
  • 🚀 Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins — own self-managed GitLab end-to-end
  • 📊 Implement full observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Alertmanager — lead incident management and post-mortems
  • 🔐 Enforce DevSecOps best practices — manage edge security and CDN via Cloudflare Workers, R2, and Proxy
  • 🗄️ Oversee PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis — performance, availability, and reliability
  • 👥 Build and mentor a high-performing DevOps / SRE team — define SLAs, SLOs, and reliability standards

✅ Requirements:

🔑 Must-Haves:

  • 10–15 years in DevOps / Infrastructure / SRE roles
  • 5+ years leading DevOps or Platform engineering teams
  • Strong expertise in Linux, networking, and system architecture
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

🛠️ Technical Skills:

  • Deep hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and IaC (Terraform)
  • Strong in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms
  • Experience with NGINX, HAProxy, Cloudflare for traffic routing and security
  • FinOps / cloud cost optimization experience — nice to have
  • Background in SaaS / B2B / high-scale platform engineering — strong plus
