About the Role:
💻 As an SDE I via University Talent Acquisition, you will help design and build new products, features, and services from scratch in a large, distributed computing environment.You will collaborate with experienced Amazonians, solve ambiguous problems, and see your work’s impact directly on customers and internal systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 🤝 Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to conceive, design, and launch innovative products and services.
  • ☁ Design and build large-scale, distributed technologies and help drive fundamental industry changes.
  • 🔮 Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems and work with cutting-edge technologies at scale and speed.
  • 🗄 Build scalable, fault‑tolerant, low‑cost distributed storage, index, and query systems.
  • 🧩 Design and code the right solutions starting from broadly defined problems and deliver high-quality software in an agile environment.

Requirements:

  • 🎓 Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 📚 Strong fundamentals in OOP, algorithms, data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
  • 💻 Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C/C++, Java, Python, or Perl.

Preferred:

  • 💼 Previous technical internship(s).
  • 🌐 Experience with distributed, multi-tier systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
  • 📈 Exposure to optimization mathematics (linear/nonlinear programming).
  • 🧠 Ability to articulate technical challenges/solutions and handle ambiguous or undefined problems, thinking abstractly.
